So anything in that genre would be a good fit as well. The sword was placed in the Holy Mausoleum where Seiros was said to be buried in order to be safeguarded. Some more magic and epic battles would be great as well, also a main character / supporting characters who can actually use magic and not just talk about it for 12 books. I would love something similar to the early Sword of Truth series. So with some more time for reading since I've just finished my studies, I would really appreciate some tips from you what I should be reading next! Because of this I feel like I'm done with Richard and Kahlan for now and won't be giving the new trilogy a chance right now. The quality between "The Wizards First Rule" and the "Confessor-trilogy" is enormous. To be honest, as much as I have loved this series and the characters the last couple of books was far from good. However, a couple of weeks ago after finally getting around to it I finished the series with the book "Confessor". Well, apart from the Sword of Truth series which I have loved since I was a teenager. In the last 5-6 years due to studies I really have not had that much time to sink my teeth into a new epic fantasy series. I've always been a big fan of fantasy, starting at my youth with series such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Redwall and much much more.
